Please be aware that it is BDBA and Monday/Friday League policy that playing "1 on the first 2 ends" is NOT permitted. Trial ends or going straight in may be played as agreed by team captains prior to the commencement of the match. In a league where shots for and against can determine position then it is imperative that all games are played to the same rules and discipline. If for any reason you think that there may not be enough time to complete 18 ends then the number of ends may be reduced by agreement between team captains according to the League rules.(see competition rule 28 Bad Light)

We would like to take this opportunity to remind you all of the revised point scoring system as per the decision taken at the AGM. This season each winning rink/triple will receive 2 points and the winning team will receive 1 point for the overall score. Should a rink score or the overall score be tied then points will be shared as per normal. Monday League games will be played for a total of 7 points, Friday Rinks League games for a total of 5 points.
