Basingstoke Town win Hants and Berks Cup

Well done to all players for some good bowling on a very hot day, especially those who played two games in a day. Also thanks to everyone at Kingsclere for the use of their green and providing much appreciated food and refreshments.

The morning semi finals were both very close run affairs but Howard Park overcame the Old Basing challenge whilst Basingstoke Town pulled away from Oakley in the final few ends.

After the lunch break the final took place in searing heat and in the end Basingstoke Town came out on top against Howard Park.
